So… who exactly is Bzubzi?
Bzubzi is curious, proud, mischievous – and always ready to test his latest brilliant idea.
Everyday Earth things fascinate him. Buttons are clearly meant to be pressed. If one cookie is good, one enormous cookie must be better. And picnics? They can always be improved.
Tomek and Lola usually know better. Bzubzi remains unconvinced.

The human behind the alien
I’m the author of a bestselling novel and several cookbooks – but Bzubzi began as a story for just one child: my son.
When he was fascinated by space and asking for a new story every night, I created a friendly, wonderfully confused alien just for him. I wasn’t an illustrator, but I spent many evenings drawing the first Bzubzi book with crayons and printed it as a homemade album.
He loved it. We read it every night for weeks. Then he wanted another Bzubzi story. And another.
Soon, his friends began asking for them too. Eventually, I decided it was time to let Bzubzi fly a little farther – and make more children laugh.
Finally, a children’s book that genuinely made us laugh.
